The Importance of Polish

Don’t be a man this summer! Ladies, paint your toes.

I feel so passionate about this that I am willing, if you are too lazy to do it yourself, to come over some Saturday, and I will paint them for you.

Your toes will thank you for it, I will thank you for it.

This is my mission.

You’ll love this story, Emily—of course it’s from Holly: She and her (very polished) co-workers had a work-related event a while back, and afterwards, one of their patrons sent a (very polished) co-worker a gift certificate for a manicure because she noticed that her feet “needed attention.” Ever since that totally mortifying incident, I work hard to be sure my feet are presentable. I do not want to get a gift certificate from anyone!!
